Small Biz 100

Could Your Business Be in the Small Biz 100?

Are you proud of your small business and what it’s achieved? Would you like to see it highlighted and promoted in a major national campaign? Then why not consider applying to be one of the Small Business Saturday Small Biz 100?

Small Business Saturday

This year, Small Business Saturday will fall on 1st December, traditionally a time when the nation is in full Christmas shopping mode. It’s a great time to promote small businesses in general and the benefits (to them and their customers) of buying small and buying locally. It’s also a great time to promote your small business, and the Small Business Saturday website – and its Small Biz 100 campaign – does just that.

So, what does the Small Business Saturday scheme offer you?

You can register to be listed on its Small Business Finder page, helping customers keen to support small business find you (and you must register on the Small Business Finder if you’re intending to apply for the Small Biz 100 campaign). You can also connect with the scheme on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

Later in the year, you will also be able to download logo and marketing packs from the scheme’s homepage (ensure you select the ‘I’m a Small Business’ tab if it’s not already highlighted).

Be part of the Small Biz 100

Applications are now open for businesses wanting to be part of the scheme’s Small Biz 100 campaign, but be quick – applications close on 30th June,

If your business is chosen for this year’s 100 list, it will be promoted in the 100 days leading up to Small Business Saturday and each business is highlighted on one day.

The Small Biz 100 campaign has been running for the last five years and in that time, the 100 chosen businesses have not only received exposure on Small Business Saturday’s social media channels and in the local and national press, but also joined the Small Business Saturday team in London at receptions in both Downing Street and The Treasury Drum with the Chancellor of the Exchequer.

To apply, register with Small Business Saturday, verify your email and follow the instructions. Successful applicants will be notified by email in August and one of them could be you. But you’ve got to be in it to win it, so apply now!
